Organised to improve asthma awareness and care around the world - one dear to our heart.

4th May - Star Wars Day

We love a pun so we had to write about this day. Inspired by the phrase 'May The Force Be With You' it becomes 'May The Fourth Be With You' on this day! Because of this it's known as Star Wars Day.

12th May - International Nurses Day

It's Florence Nightingale's birthday so today nurses contributions are recognised to mark the occasion. It is a day to recognise the important roles of nurses all over the world.

13th May - World Fair Trade Day

Celebrating Fair Trade's contribution to sustainable development, a worldwide event that acknowledges responsible production, small producers and gender equality.

14th May - National Children's Day UK

This day is all about the importance of protecting the rights and freedoms of children and giving them a healthy childhood to ensure they become healthy and happy adults.

18th May - International Museum Day

Raising awareness that museums are important for enrichment and an exchange of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among people.

20th May to 28th May - National Doughnut Week

A fundraising event in aid of The Children's Trust organised by the baking industry.

20th May - World Bee Day

World Bee Day raises awareness of the importance of pollinators and their contribution to the world.

21st May - International Tea Day

A day that promotes sustainable production and consumption of tea and to raise awareness of its importance in fighting poverty.

23rd May - World Turtle Day

World Turtle Day aims to increase knowledge of and respect for, turtles and tortoises, and encourage us to help them thrive and survive.

29th May - National Biscuit Day

A fun day celebrating this great snack. Grab one with a cup of tea or coffee, sit back and celebrate!
