Do you know about Pantone colour of the year? It's a colour released by Pantone based on trend analysis and explores palettes and colour harmonies to drive new designs and mood.
They pick one every year and this year the colour is Peach Fuzz!
It's a very nurturing colour, it's modern and warming. I just had to make some new designs using this shade and as it brought up some lovely soft feeling, I thought a Valentine's/Love range would be perfect.
So here it is: Peach Fuzz-y feelings! Using Pantone’s colour of the year and pairing it with greens and coral for a bright, fresh alternative approach to a Valentine’s/Love collection - while still giving all the fuzzy feeling vibes!
I've paired Peach Fuzz with a zingy coral, a deep green, and pastel lights to compliment the shade. The palette is limited to allow big and bold pattern play. Lots of shapes, stripes, checks and solid colour.
It's a collection very suited to fabrics and quilting or paper projects and crafts.
These designs also lend themselves to gorgeous papers - I can't wait to see them on wrapping and crafting papers!
